Sometimes, I even imagine us starting a family. Okay, maybe that's a bit crazy for someone I haven't even spoken to. But who knows? Maybe one day our paths will finally align. Growing Up Malay in London
It's pretty cool being Malay growing up in the city. You get the best of both worlds - the buzzing atmosphere and all the tasty food, but also that strong sense of community and culture. I cherish/treasure/hold dear these traditions and strive/aim/endeavor to preserve/protect/share them with future generations. My Malaysian heritage is more than just a part of my identity/past/background; it's an integral part/aspect/element of who I am, and I am proud to embrace/celebrate/honour it every day.
